Ryan Villopoto (or "RV") was the big name of the night. He won the Monster Energy AMA Supercross event at Angel Stadium in Anaheim. The Lites main event win, went to Trey Canard, who took his second Western Region Lites main event win of the season.

The first lap of the Supercross Main Event was telling to how the rest of the night would go. Villopoto took the holeshot, with Josh Hill following in second, Davi Millsaps in third, and Ryan Dungey rounding out the top 5 by the end of lap one.  Kevin Windham was putting up a great fight as the race progressed though, working his way up to third place on lap seven. Eventually Dungey got around Millsaps as well, but he couldnt hold it, and ended up finishing fourth. Josh Hill finished second, and the hard work of Windham paid off, giving him the last podium spot.
