Chad Reed signs two-year contract with American Honda!

Yesterday, Chad Reed confirmed the two-year agreement deal with American Honda. He will still be racing for himself on his personal team,TwoTwo Motorsports, but they will have a large increase of support to help them out. Even though we can't say many of us were shocked about this announcement, it is definitely going to make this year have lots more pluses for Chad's team. But, with his successful season last year, it was expected. The team director of American Honda, Ray Conway said, "Chad enjoyed a tremendous level of success in 2011, his first year ever on Honda CRF450R racing machines. We are all anticipating that his level of success will only increase during the coming year."

After many rumors floating around about who would become Reed's teammate this year to join him with TwoTwo Motorsports, Reed announced that he is not going to have one. But, he went on to say he will be "going big in 2013". Mike Gosselar, one of the best mechanics known to AMA racing history and Sergio Avento will be the Research and Development Master. With such an excellent staffed team it will be sure to make everything go smoothly and less stressful. Reed said, "With a team situation there are so many other things that can affect an outcome, but it was the sheer hard work and dedication of my crew this year that ensured none of those factors influenced our performance. As a rider, I am responsible for my own performance and I expect to go out there and win. Anything else is second best."
