18 year old Christie Oliver from San Clemente is definitely someone to be keeping an eye on in the women's class. With such a love for this sport, nothing is going to stop her. At 16 years old she saved up her own money and had to convince her parents to let her ride. Now, she is currently holding fifth place in California Cold Cup Motocross Series, but not far behind third and fourth. She is sponsored by Dunlop, GoPro, Monster Energy, Pro Circuit, True Beauty Inc., and Sheckler Racing! Through it all, she wants to become a professional rider and has gone through many injuries, but still hasn't given up yet. Recently she crashed and ended up with a concussion, but she still raced at Glen Helen that weekend! Christie has also broken her arm three times, and had to have wrist surgery. But quickly after that she went off to Millsaps Training Facility and took the win in the holeshot shoot-out, even amongst all male riders! 

        Christie is looking forward to race at Loretta Lynns this year and is surely putting her work in by working out five days a week, and racing the local races. Be sure to keep an eye out for her at Loretta qualifiers in March!
