Josh Waters to fill in for Blake Young at Mid-Ohio and Laguna seca

Josh Waters is the defending Australian Superbike Champion, who won the 2009 Australian Superbike Championship during his rookie year. Waters was the first rookie to win the championship during his rookie year, since Mat Mladin won as a rookie in 1992. Waters said, in a press release issued by Yoshimura: "Firstly, I would like to wish blake a speedy recovery. When I got the cal up, I was blown away that the team thought of me to fill in. I know its not going to be easy as the next two tracks are quite hard, but I know I have the best team behind me. I will try my hardest and I hope I can do a good job for suzuki and our sponsors, and I also want to thank my Team Manager, Phil Tainton, for coming with me!"

Waters will continue his efforts in the Australian Superbike Championship, and will not miss any of the upcoming scheduled rounds. Blake Young is scheduled to return in August for the AMA round at Virginia International Raceway.
