Tomorrow, is the second supercross race of the season. It will be at Phoenix, Arizona for everyone who doesn't already know and if you're close enough, you won't regret driving out to watch it. After last weekend it will surely be an interesting race. Who knows who will end up where? Plus, Trey Canard has decided he is ready to come race again this weekend. Some say he's going to be winning the race very easily. But, with Villopoto, Reed, Stewart, and Dungey racing, is that even possible? It sure sounds like it is for the number 41, Trey Canard, who is a factory Honda rider. Canard has won 2 championships in the Lites class and last year won 3 main events in the 450 class. Canard has been out with 2 hip injuries and a collarbone injury and is finally healed and ready. It will be very exciting to see how he ends up.
Plus, Lake Elsinore was finally confirmed for the very last outdoor race of this season. With many rumors floating around about it returning to Pala or going to the new and improved Lake Elsinore track for the race.
"MX Sports Pro Racing and Alli Sports announce that the brand new Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park will become the new home of Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing, in Southern California. On the heels of announcing the 2012 series schedule and advance ticket sales for next summer, both parties are pleased to welcome the completely renovated Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park as the host site of the season finale, set to take place on Saturday, September 8, 2012.
The original Lake Elsinore track was a local hotspot for many years, but over time, newer venues throughout the region garnered the attention of enthusiasts and pros, ultimately forcing it to shut its doors two years ago. After months of sculpting and fine-tuning, the new Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park opened its doors to the public the first weekend in December. While the facility is ready for business (and has been getting rave reviews for the complete makeover) there is still plenty of work to be done, including the completion of a full Lucas Oil four-wheel off-road short course stadium on the property and the finishing touches of what will be the site of the final round of the 2012 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship."
Ticket info for every round of the 2012 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship can be found atwww.allisports.com. Fans won't want to miss the chance to take advantage of special early-bird ticket sales!
