Sean Collier - A Catalina GP Cinderella Story

Mounted on his (2 year old) 2009 Honda CRF450R bike built to a Supercross spec, despite the fact that its a motocross event, had an amazing weekend. Although he started from mid-pack, he worked his way to the front through hard, smart, and consistent riding. Unfortunately he had a stalled engine and two crashes, but that didnt stop him from again riding to the front of the pack. Fans and riders were suprised to see him ride with some serious talent, where it seemed like he was a shoe in for the win. Unfortunately due to a bad pit stop which left him with barely enough fuel to finish, he had to get off the gas in order to secure a podium spot and finish the race at a slower pace.

His speed was there, but unfortunately technical difficulties held him back. Keep in mind, he had the fastest lap time of the event.

Be sure to keep an eye on him. We're not confirmed on any of his future plans, but one thing is certain - his riding is amazing and only getting better. He'll be a rider to watch in the coming season.
