Support Ian Trettel

After a successfull ride day for Ian Trettel at Pala Raceway last Saturday, everyone can still help and support his family and himself. On Saturday, March 5th, at Daytona supercross, Ian fell and ended up having a serious head injury from his crash. With him becoming a rising rookie racer this year after just turning pro last year, it was a very sad thing to see happen to him. Ian is 18 years old and rides for Rockstar Canidae Suzuki. He started professional motocross racing last year, where he raced in the last 3 outdoor season races of 2010. Since his crash, Ian has started the process of recovery and is getting better and better every single day.

From Joe Trettel on behalf of the Trettel Family:
"On behalf of our entire family, I want to first say how grateful we all are to have been shown such love and support from all of Ian’s and our family’s friends and especially from those in the motocross community. We are thrilled and very excited to say that Ian continues to make remarkable progress each and every day and we can now look forward to the next state of Ian’s recovery, which will be rehab."

If you are interested in helping out the Trettel's with costs of medical bills and such, you can visit Vurb Moto's store (http://store.vurbmoto.com/) where there is IT#77 bracelets and t-shirts to buy. The shirts are selling for $20.00 and the bracelets for only $5.00. All of the money will go straight to helping Ian out. Also, for the rest of the supercross races there will be a "Road to Recovery" tent where you can purchase the bracelets as well. If you are looking to make a straight donation you can visit https://r2r.webconnex.com/gen?comments=for:+Ian+Trettel and do it there. Once again, please keep Ian and his family in your prayers.
