Last weekend at Glen Helen Raceway was the FIM-sanctioned 2011 Monster Energy United States Grand Prix. It was a great location for this event which included some of the world's top riders. Even though the weather could have turned out a lot better, it ended up being a great weekend with lots of entertaining races to watch. 

               Ken Roczen took the win and ended up passing his teammate Jeffrey Herlings in the points. Roczen is in first place now with 14 points ahead of Herlings. Both of them are excellent riders but it seemed that Roczen just had a little extra this past weekend. Herlings was following closely in both heats but wasn't getting the starts he needed to to be able to grab the win.
