World Mini

Well, in less than 2 weeks the gates will be dropping at World Mini's. With this being the second year at the new location, everyone is expecting a better turnout than the past year. The race is at Mesquite MX Park, which is in Mesquite, Nevada. After holding it in Las Vegas for many years, people got fed up with the wind and the horrible track conditions. The NMA decided to move it 65 miles North, out to a track that can hold together for the most part. The majority of riders prefer this track over the Vegas one and everyone seems to be happy with the race being held here.

This year the race has many top sponsors coming out to support their riders and the race. Alpine-star, FMF, Thor, Maxima and Dunlop are just among a few of them. Also, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, Suzuki, and Yamaha will all be attending. Even though you don't have to qualify for this national, all of the top riders of amateur motocross are definitely going to be here. Registration is on Monday, the 11th. Following that on Tuesday is when practice will begin. Racing will go through out the rest of the week until Sunday when trophies and championships will be awarded. With every single age group and bike size, there is definitely going to be some good racing and battles to pay attention too.

Check back during the week of the race for a few updates. To watch live results you can see them at www.worldmini11.tracksideresults.com/
